Twitter's Communications Evolution
An article in the November 9 NY Times, "Refining the Twitter Explosion", described changes that Twitter programmers are making to Twitter, changes that are taking steps toward a dramatic realignment of our society.

COAST Joins Lawsuit Opposing Navy Sonar Range
The Navy intends to build a 500-square nautical mile instrumented Undersea Warfare Training Range (USWTR) off the Florida and Georgia coasts, where it plans to conduct around 470 annual exercises involving up to three vessels and two aircraft, and the use of its mid-frequency active sonar. Minnesotans Arrested at White House Tuesday
13 people were arrested at the White House Tuesday. Nine of them are from Minnesota. They are in the DC jail. Evidently they will be held for 24 hours in a jail that is all stainless steel including the bunks. The water supply does not work that well if at all in the cells. And, according to one observer, they turn up either the heat or the air conditioning to make them uncomfortable.
For the action they had cardboard tombstones with the names of 77 Minnesotans who died in the wars...
