On February 20, 2010, the Colorado Citizens for Peace will remember their 5th Anniversary.The longest on-going peace vigil in Metro Denver. We will have our regular peace vigil from Noon until 1 PM at the intersections of W. 52nd Avenue and Wadsworth Blvd., then we will adjourn to Kathy Tolman's Home located at 4735 Reed St. for a rally and a potluck luncheon.
Our keynote speaker will be Carolyn Bninski from the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center who will address the issue of GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING FOR SOCIAL CHANGE.
Music will be furnished by Kevin Alumbaugh and Scott Zuluaf playing the acoustic version of their Egg Planet group. Cindy Lowry will read her original poem entitled --- AFGHAN TRIOLOGY. Hope to see you there.
